Ready, Set, Play

This past weekend Bob's sister Tiffany, and her family came to visit us from Columbia, Missouri. They only got to stay a short time so we tried to cram lots of fun things into the weekend. After the long drive little Nate needed to rest...he came right in and plopped down on the dog beds:)


On Saturday morning Bob took them to the fire station while Reese napped. Apparently the new Frisco fire station is featured in a Barney video and it is quite a place to see. Bob said the fireman were so nice and gave a great tour for the kids. They saw some of the trucks from the video and the fire dog. The fireman who was in the video even autographed Nick and Nate's copy of the DVD.





After lunch we headed over to the Frisco Athletic Center for some swimming. What a fun place for kids...the boys loved the slides and Reese enjoyed chilling in the water.



It wouldn't be a get together without some good food so we went to Mattitos for dinner and boy was it yummy! Check out Bob trying to teach Reese to drink from a straw...






After dinner they went to the Frisco Roughriders game. Reese and I decided to sit this part out given the heat and late hour of a baseball game. They said although it was hot the boys had fun at their first baseball game.




Reese had a great time playing with her cousins and Nike even got a little extra attention over the weekend.
