"Riding on a train, riding on a train, we love riding on a train!"

Reese has been asking for awhile to ride on a train. This past week my folks came to town and we decided to make a day out of trains. We started at the Interurban Trailway Museum in downtown Plano. It was a cute little museum with an OLD train car which we got to tour.

Driving the train with Nanny.

From there we walked across the street and got on the DART. Deciding where to go:)

This little girl was super duper EXCITED!!

We rode to the Mockingbird Station which was about a 20 minute ride with several stops along the way. Every time we pulled into a station Reese would yell "choo choo"! She was pretty entertaining to the other passengers. Ha!

The Mockingbird Station is a trendy little area with lots of shops and restaurants. We walked around a bit, had lunch and then got back on the train.

It was a great time and Reese is still talking about riding the train a week later. I love the little things that make her so happy:)

Memorial Day and Fishing Fun..

A few weeks ago Bob went on a totally impromptu fishing trip. Because of that he was inspired to take Reese to get all this...

a fishing pole and Barbie tackle box filled with pink worms...she was beyond thrilled!!

They picked a Saturday morning date to go do some fishing and Blakey wanted to tag along.

They went to the little pond in our neighborhood and apparently it was HOT and also crowded so they didn't catch any fish but the girls had fun feeding the ducks and turtles.

On Sunday we went to church and Reese wore this super cute dress from Mimi!

We spent the rest of the weekend swimming and getting out ALL of our pool toys. Yay for summer!!

Friday Fun-Day!

Reesey had Landry over to play today. We took the wagon to the playground and by the time we got back we were all HOT! Popsicles made it all better. I just love these two sweet, silly, ornery friends:)

Y'all know that I am a stinky photographer but here's proof that I really did try to get a good picture. Ha! Between looking at the popsicles and each other there was just no time to look at the camera.
