Halloween at Mygym

Every year at Mygym they have a costume class the week of Halloween. The kids were thrilled to see their peeps all dressed up! The mommy's were also thrilled when we realized the three girls were all going to be insects...

The Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday Reese's friend Emma invited us to go to yet another pumpkin patch. We had already been to two but since we had painters in the house and Reese LOVES Emma we decided to trek out to one more:) These two girls are TIGHT! They have there own secret language and when they play together they are in there own little world. It's nice actually!


This pumpkin patch had a ton of things to do. We started by posing for some pics with a few of the characters..


Then off to the bounce house..which was crowded and CRAZY!


There was plenty of playground equipment to climb on.





After that we went to look at some pumpkins. It was really windy and dusty and the girls were just not interested in posing for a pic.




It was a fun time with our friends and I can say for sure I am DONE with pumpkin patches for the season:))

All Nanny!!

Nanny and Poppy came to town for a quick trip. Mostly it was to bring Reese's Halloween Costume which my mom made! Thanks Momma:)! Nanny wanted to take Reese to the mall to let her pick out some things for her birthday. I gave some "suggestions" of things for them to get..a coat, hat and gloves, clothes etc:) Reese had fun shopping for about 2.5 minutes and then she talked Nanny into something more fun...

We had a girls lunch at the mall before Nanny and Poppy had to head home!

Painting with a Friend!

On Wednesday we went to a special preschool painting time at Color Me Mine with our friends Nicki and Lily. They started by reading a short Halloween story to the kids. After that they let the kids paint the plate pretty much however they wanted with a few colors. After that we made a ghost with our feet...


and spiders with our fingers!

The Big Orange Pumpkin Patch!

Reese and I have been to The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm the last three years!




This year was the most fun by far! We went with our usual group of friends Landry, Elyse and Reese! I LOVE these sweet friends!!


But as an added BONUS we were able to take Nanny and Poppy!!


Everyone gets a cup of food to feed the animals and to pick a pumpkin. Thank goodness Nanny and Poppy saved their feed for these three little people:)

After we fed the animals we went on a hay ride and roped a cow...


then picked a pumpkin to take home.

St Phillip's Pet Blessing

Last Sunday we took the dogs to the annual pet blessing at our church. We have gone for the last several years but Reese didn't remember it. This year she was thrilled to be taking her dogs to church:)


Nike (the black lab) is and always has been a much better behaved dog then Lady. However every year Lady totally sucks up to Father Clay...we think it's hilarious! Look at her shaking his hand..crazy dog:)

A Fireman Visits Rainbow Corner

All month Reese has been learning about fire safety at her preschool. They have had several fire drills and learned some cute songs about fire trucks and such. Last Thursday a REAL fireman came to visit the school and Reese was pretty excited! All the kids were supposed to wear red and were allowed to bring a fire truck toy to show during circle time. Here she is before school....

After school she told us all about it and was proud to show off her hat and badge! We love this little "fire girl" to pieces!

Fall Festival Fun!!

Bob and Reese went to Calloway's Nursery last Saturday as part of their weekly date. It was children's day and each kid got a free pie pumpkin to decorate, some seeds to plant and of course a bounce house! Fun!



Being that it was OU/TX we were a little bummed to not be going to the game. It's the first time we haven't gone in forever but luckily we had a fun day with our neighbors. Our neighborhood hosted it's annual fall festival and Reese and Blake set out first thing in search of a pumpkin....

and then went to work decorating them.

and posed with some pumpkins and Emma. Reese and Emma don't get to see each other much now that school has stared back up but when they do they are thick as thieves!! Ha


You certainly can't have a fall festival without face/arm painting. Reese refused to get her faced painted but she's all about painting on her arm..funny girl!

Funny Friday!

A few weekends ago Kiss came to town. Bob really wanted to go..he loves them. Me..not so much! On Saturday morning Bob and Reese went on their weekly date and they stopped in at the library and happened to see the buses setting up for the concert. Bob was thrilled! He said everyone was posing with there tongues out and Reese just walked up there and posed like this...
