FORT THOMAS!

Since building the pool one of the home improvement projects we have been wanting to do was replace our fence. The old one was pretty rickety and we wanted to expand the fence area for more dog/kid play area. The fence builder started working last week and with the lovely Texas weather a 3-4 day job turned into a 2 week job! But the new fence is lovely and we love the new gate which allows for a nice safe place for Reese to run and play while still enjoying the view of the pool.

They finished the fence and gate just a few days ago while Bob was in New York. I was super excited that it was all finished..then last night when he got home the D*&^ gate wouldn't open and he had to leave his car out front. Of course he was annoyed and it was all my fault!! Right!

This morning in keeping with Saturday morning tradition Bob was getting ready to take Reese to breakfast while I went to workout. I realized when he was moving Reese's seat out of my car (which was in the garage) into his car (which was out front) that the D&^* gate was still broken!!

Soooo they leave and he says to me..."you need to get that fence guy out here to fix that!" Great!

I call the fence guy who says they will come out "sometime" this morning. I cancel any and all plans for myself this morning and I LOUNGE around in my Pj's:)By noon the fence guy has come and gone and the fence is all fixed..Yippee! Bob said that while they were out he fed Reese lunch so she would be ready for her nap when she got home. Looks like they had a pretty "swanky" lunch...

While at "needless markups" Daddy also bought her this outfit...

Totally cute, only Daddy would buy her a Juicy outfit that will fit for about one minute:))

When they get home Reese goes down for her nap. I was so exhausted from lounging around in my PJ's all morning that I took a nap too. Really I almost never nap..seriously!

After doing almost nothing all day when we got up from napping we decided to run over to Sam's. I had seen some planters that I wanted earlier in the week and I wanted Bob to go with us to help load them into the car while dealing with the kiddo. While at Sam's I saw the cutest little raincoat and bought it for Miss Reese. When we got home we played outside and Reese was covered in mud. She came inside to eat dinner and was so dirty I had to strip her down. After dinner I asked her is she wanted to try on her new raincoat and of course she did...she was soooo funny...

You just can't go wrong with tennis shoes, diaper and a rain coat!

Then she decides to not only go outside in her new getup but she also has to make an important phone call!

Reesey P,
Daddy and I love you more then words. You make us smile and laugh a million times a day! Love you lots..

I'm crazy jealous of your driveway gate. ;) At least Bob has good taste for Reese, and I love the polka dot raincoat.
