Yesterday we got record snowfall for North Texas. Something like 12 or so inches, which breaks the record for the last 111 years...Yikes! Reese had MDO yesterday and although it was snowing in the morning it wasn't bad yet so they still had school. By the time she got out at 2:00 it was still snowing and starting to get bad so Bob came home from work early to go pick her up. She was dying to go out and make a snowman before school so I promised her we would go out once she got home. We didn't waist any time getting bundled up to go out.
Daddy quickly went to work on building a snowman.
Reese mostly enjoyed eating the snow. This being her first time ever to play in it she was pretty excited.
We threw some snowballs and Daddy shoveled the sidewalk.
Last but not least after careful instruction from Daddy we made snow angels!!
After we went inside Reese wanted to look out the window at her snowman every few minutes..it was so cute!

awwww....I love that Bob was able to leave early, pick her up and play in the snow with her!
I was totally cracking up at the picture of Reese eating the snow because that is Landry's favorite thing about the snow...I think she ate her body weight!
Great snowman! It sure was a fun couple of days!
